You don't have to put a disclaimer at the end of all of your posts. Say what you mean. Mean what you say. No one will take it the wrong way. (not supposed to rhyme...)See how unnecessary that was? Anyways, I just got a PS3 myself, and it's a beast. I wish I had more time to play it, but I've got too much shit to do.

Yeah, that's what I said. haha
And that's good, about the games, but there's already a thread about that. Let's try and keep it about the systems in general. From what I gather, Paradelous did a fine job of comparing the consoles and the need for discussion, since, has dropped by quite a degree. I think now, all there's let for this discussion to do is die, before it gets too off topic.
There's no need to lock it, as there's still plenty to be said about both these consoles, but it's all just opinion from here on out anyways.

I always had it that the 360 would most likely crash on me. For ps3, looks like there's less complaints on technical issues. That's not adding all the features of what the both have. Otherwise, I'd have to say. Ps3 is kicking the ass. Better media, and graphics. For the ps3 graphics, I believe NVIDIA/SCEI is a computer HD video card. Which is badass because I can then play it on my comp or big screen T.V. Pretty sure you could do the same with the 360 But I don't think it's specifically made to do that. Even though 360 has my respects and games that I like. From this, I'd have to top my hat off to Ps3.

wow didn't think this would get this popular.
on topic: ps3 definitely has better graphics. i own a ps3 while my cousin owns a 360. from looking at both sides ps3 wins hands down.

I think ps3 wins in console wise yeah. Though, I think that some games are meant to be on Xbox than ps3. Like how some games are on Xbox and not on ps3 that are good! Not going to mention now, Too busy.

Dude that's so true! To Para's post...I'm convinced that ps3 is better...generally in console wise. Now, games are a different story. :3 Too bad for Wii T_T

Well yeah, but I recently got "Wii fitness" it's a platform where you can do exercising games! I think that's very convenient, wonder how much those guys sold.

back onto PS3 and Xbox 360.
after viewing all the posts (and votes), it is easy to say that these two systems are equal.

I don't see how you can draw that conclusion. This isn't a consensus, it's a culmination of individual opinion.
If you want to talk hardware, then I don't care who you are, the PS3 takes the gold. If you're focused personal opinions, then it depends on the person. In any case, the systems aren't equal (based on the posts). If you think they're the same, then that's your business, but I hardly think that our posts here have settled some kind of mystery.

Well it depends what kind of pc you're going for. I say a gaming pc will definitely be a lot more. around, 899.99 to be exact.

I think it's because PC's are generally shittier. Unless you shell out for those expensive ass cpu's (like Alienware), the games don't run so smoothly and the graphics are usually crap. Cpu's got more chance of crashing, also, as it's main purpose usually isn't gaming, and often has many multiple processes going on at once, creating lag.
So, that probably means that developers spend less time on the cpu versions, because not everyone has Alienware, and they'd like people to actually be able to play their games. Sacrifice the quality in order to ensure that computers can handle it and lower the price.

That's the quality of the Ps3 in general, now let's talk about features! I saw the features of the menu screen on Ps3 and Xbox 360, I honestly like the 360 better because you could create an avatar, even unlock new stuff by beating a game and acquire something from that game. I think that was a pretty neat feature, also playing music at menu and during gameplay, I don't know about you guys, but hearing music while playing a game with shitty music? Is fuking nice! By the looks of it, you can upgrade the hard drive space too. Which is even better! More music! Now I think that's a pretty cool feature of the Xbox 360.
