Okay, this is a new project I'm working on. This will be my second project that I'll be working on. Help on this would be appreciated.
Rivals Eric and Draco have been fighting since childhood to prove who is the better warrior. For years these two have been pretty much equal.
One day, during an intense duel, a third person by the name of Zamot interferes in their duel. Claiming to be the ruler of a powerful race known as Vipors, Zamot searches every planet for the most powerful fighter and steals their power for his creatures.
Failing to see the power Eric and Draco possess, he teleports them back to town. The two rivals now must work together to save the planet they inhabit.
- Eric-Rival of Draco, Eric takes the side of Good. His chosen element is fire, for it burns as much as his heart does for goodness. Eric is crafted with the ability to use bows and arrow as both ranged and melee weapon.
- Draco-Rival of Eric, Draco has chosen the side of Darkness. His raw power and anger fuel his black sorcery. Draco's power with a sword is deadly. He can peform tricks while in battle. Draco is unmatched in the art of swordplay.
- Zamot-Ruler of the powerful creatures known as Vipors, Zamot is infused with wicked powers unknown to the rivals. He fuels his race of creatures by letting them absorb the power of the strongest fighters on each planet they visit. Zamot uses sorcery to deal with his foes. Zamot may have powerful creatures to help protect him, but his magic powers are not to be reckoned with.

So what about the other one. Megamustard!  From the looks of it you don't have a crew besides yourself. But that doesn't count.  I guess aside the story being cliche, looks like with the proper resources it can turn out to be good. Suggestion, recruiting from Charas is good.  |

That would be the best option, doing it alone is difficult and frustrating. I'm soon about to release my demo here and on RRR for recruitment.

Yeah, I kinda thought the same way a bit with the basic layout of the story.
The rivalry is pretty common but used differently in many stories.
This is one of them. Just like Orkanis said.
With the proper resources, this could turn out fine.

The storyline pretty much speaks for itself. Not complex, it's simple; that's all.
If we knew more of the characters and their development, then we'd have a better understanding as to why this would differ to other similar stories.

i may not hint it in te characters, but once this storyline is finished, it will be unique. i just need some time. the main characters tell their stories in the game, so until i release a demo (or you guess miraculously), you won't see a difference. fear not, though, for i am working on it.

Why don't you try a solo project? Much more reliable than having other people do some things for you. This way, you do it the way you want to do and no credits besides yourself.  And music..perhaps even charasets. But besides the story that I've already told you how I felt. You should exploit some characters and or some screenshots to figure the game layout or somethin. |

well i have no maps yet and i'm waiting to finish the story before doing any. i coud show you character sprites, if they were done. i'm right now not showing interest in my projects. i seemed to be more focused on beating rock band with drums on expert. plus i could never do a solo project and i don't mind cediting people.

That's why I say it's easier to do a Solo project so you don't have to rely of others to make the resources for you. Even though making a solo project seems hard, it's very worth the risk of not having a complete project at all.
