Description: First of all, I'm sorry about the quality. Nothing I can do about it. It's more clear if you watch it in HD or full screen. I created this PPT presentation for an AP US History project my Junior year of high school (2008-2009). I figured I'd make a video out of it and post it so I could show it to other people and touch on a few basic ideas. If any of this stuff interests you at all, I also wrote a lengthy paper on 9/11 that year, and that's available at the link below. www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=55992818955If you're wondering, the songs on the video are in fact relevant. haha While they don't explicitly state "911 blah blah!" their message is somewhat deeper than that. In any case, the first song is "The Sacrifice" by SymphonyX, and the second song is "No Time to Cry" (cover) done by Cradle of Filth. So, yeah, enjoy. Ah, yes, I should also give credit to an old friend of mine who drew the opening slide... especially, because, you know, I used it without permission. Haha

Thanks. This was actually a group project, but my "partner" did 0% of the work, so I cut his name out of the title. haha

Very reasonabe considering 0 work=0 credit.
9/11 was the biggest thing that opened our eyes towards terrorism. In my honest opinion, I think it was the beginning of the war. We were attacked by terrorists, Bush sends army to look for Osama Bin Laden in foreign countries, sees what is going on, tries to overthow Saddam Hussan (not sure if that's the correct spelling), and now we have soldiers stuck in Iraq.
Now this i just my opinion. However I would like to know what people think of my theory, if they think I'm wrong, if they believe what I believe, yada yada yada.

My personal response to your theory (or at least as personal as it gets) is in my presentation and in my 11 page report.
The "war," in truth has been going on since far before that; since Bush senior's days. Bin Laden worked/works for the CIA. Bush didn't try to look for him; in fact, he flew the Bin Laden family out of the US, back to the Middle-East the day after 9/11, when all air traffic, minus military, had been ceased.
He takes us to the Middle-East with the pretext of combating terrorism (which we funded). When people catch on to his lies, he tells the world that we're looking for WMD's (which we gave to them during Reagan's administration). When people catch on to these lies, he tells the world he's trying to take down Hussein (whom we put into power). When Hussein's taken out, Bush says that we need to stay so they don't kill each other, and we've been their ever since. Bush was a war criminal and should have face charges, but Obama pardoned him. Bush was in violation of the War Powers Act, which prohibited the president from keeping our troops in a warring nation for more than 60 days without a declaration of war. To this day, we've not declared war, and we're still there; in fact, we just sent 30,000+ more.
These are the facts - not my beliefs or opinions.
This "War on Terror" is an illusion. An illusion designed to keep uneducated people (those who formulate opinions based on what they've been told by other people, unquestioningly) from discovering that all they want is power. That's all it's ever been about, and that's exactly what they've gained from 9/11.

I wasn't told any of this by anyone. I never really cared about the government. I formulated what I said from bits and pieces that I just happen to overhear. Also I didn't read your report. I just wanted to say what I said earlier.

I was under no delusion that you'd spend your time reading an 11 page paper.
"An illusion designed to keep uneducated people (those who formulate opinions based on what they've been told by other people, unquestioningly) from discovering that all they want is power." Clearly, if there's any hope for you to understand anything I say, I have to spell everything out for you. "Told by other people, unquestioningly" in that one who doesn't do their own research, and forms these opinions based on what they've seen on TV, hear other people say, including parents, teachers, friends, etc, are uneducated. Fuckin' obviously, I didn't mean that the government physically and personally pulled you aside and said, "Hey, you've got to listen to this..."
Ergo, eat a dick you're an idiot you're a waste of jizz you don't know things, so if you'd like to stop looking like a moron like an imbecile so clearly oblivious, then you should do some of your own research.

You word things in ways I'm not used to hearing. That is why I don't understand what you're saying. Why do you get so aggravated by this?

Yes, like I said.
This is clearly a subject I'm passionate about, and that's because the apathetic, ignorant, and all-around stupid people of this country keep the whole nation on its knees. I'm the furthest thing from a nationalist, but that doesn't mean I don't know the potential the people US have to be great, in that we have a Constitution that protects our rights and liberties from tyrannical force. However, because people do not know their rights, they don't know when they're abused and stripped away. The majority of people in this country don't know even their first amendment rights, so when a bill passes, rendering them useless, no one says anything about it. No one gets mad, as they goddamn should.
As Howard Beale once said, that's the first step. You've got to get mad. So, when they try and fuck you over, you're ready to point it out and stop it from happening. And it's only logical: Who likes being taken advantage of? But again, the problem lies with the masses of people who take it passively, because in a crowd of a million, the hundred who actually know their rights are always silenced. It strips us of a voice.
So, that's why I wrote that paper, which was only supposed to be 1500 words, and why I made that PPT presentation, which was only supposed to be 40 slides, 5 minutes, and a group effort. And that is why I get so passionate about it. The more people know, the better for everyone.
