Basically just explain how important each feature is to you.
*Cutscenes/Eventing=Very Important: I love cutscenes a lot. The cutscenes help tell the story in a colorful way. It also give you a small break from playing. Eventing is also important for that's how you make the cutscenes. The events add flavor to the maps. They also add side quests to the story.
*Battle System/ Features/ Scripts=Important: The battle system isn't that important. It's not bad to have a good battle system, but it isn't the main thing I focus on. However, I still care about how I battle monsters. Features make a game different from the previous one. As for scripts, I have no clue about them or how to use them.
*Mapping=Important: A well made map gives color and dimension to the game. Also, a well organized map will be easier to travel on.
*Custom Graphics=Not Important: Custom graphics should only be used when you have a part that no one else would possibly have made (unless I misunderstood what custom graphics are).
*Story=Most Important: The story is like the heart of a game. Without it, you can't determine the maps, characters, monsters, anything. I personally value the story as the best part of a game. A great story should have either a couple twists or one big twist to it.
*Font/Grammar/Writing=Very Important: This part is important to me cause I don't want to read somthing like this: i luv 2 do stuf 2. A game with poor grammar and writing will just make me quit.

I'd say all of these are important, depending what type of game you're going for. For a typical Rpg game, what the right thing to look for is story and grammar. First, story: Everyone has a different shoe size and so do their game taste. Cutscenes may not be in all games but mostly are, usually when they're not, then you're in for a surprise I guess.
Battle system and its features, if you're making a serious game with a badass plot and battle system, then I guess this is the balls of the game and is important and so forth.
Mapping, most of the time, this is what determines the player to keep playing. If the mapping is shitty, it'll sorta ruin your reputation and they will think that you haven't put enough effort into your game. Which may be true. Who knows.
Custom graphics:Can be important, same follows for battle system, this is also a feature. This alone doesn't really do much. Unless you're wanting to make it fancy and your own. But it does add character to the game.
Story:I had a debate on this before. Someone was arguing that the title of the game is much more important than the plot. I honestly think that he needed help or just felt real different saying that. It only came resulting that he made himself look like a jack-ass. That's alright. But doesn't mean I forgive em. Aside, yes, story is the meat of the burger. Unless you're doing a free galaga shoot out game. That's fine too, but for a good game with story like Metal Gear. Then yeah, story is the balls.
Font and grammar:Don't think anyone will take you seriously if you make typos either. But for a comedic game, I guess it fits into its character. For me, as long as its comprehensible.

Couldn't say it any better myself. But since I have a different genre of gamewise that I want to make doesn't require story and such but more of action.
