These tutorials are effects not spriting tutorials
Hey people. This is a tutorial pack containing alot of tutorials. Every small tutorial I make will be in here so check occasionally for a new tutorial.
You will need Paint.NET for this.
Small tip: Save all files as .PNG
Tutorial for Making the sprite fast Motion ( I think):
Tutorial for making the sprite in pencil like (Sketched).
Tutorial for making sprite black and white (Easiest LOL)
Tutorial for making sprite more realistic
Compare Glow and Original :
Tutorial for making sprite darker (Night)
Step 1: Open up Paint.NET and your sprite
Step 2: Click on Adjustments > Curves
Step 3: There will be a line make it go in the 170 - 100 for best results (Or move the line around to make something better)
Step 4: Once its complete it should look a little something like this.
May require some editing for different sprites
In gameplay:
Tutorial to make art-characters
Step 1: Open up Paint.NET and your sprite.
Step 2: Click Effects > Artistic > Oil Painting
Step 3: Put the Brush Size and Coarseness to anything that would look good I will put it to:
Brush Size: 1 (They will be normal Sized)
Coarseness: 255 (You'll be able to see the sprite then)
Step 4: Save as .PNG and you're done. It should look like this when finished
In Action:
Tutorial for either blurring out a character or mixing!
I was messin' with Paint.NET and this came up! I think this is awesome!
Step 1: Open up Paint.NET and your sprite
Step 2: Go to Effects > Fragment
Step 3: Don't change the top, just change the Distance
Step 4: Put it to atleast 48 to mix a sprite. If you want to blur out a character just keep putting up by 2's and saving it each time (TO BLUR IT OUT ONLY)
Step 4: when finished it should look like this:
Study the picture*

Note: If you think that these are all obvious and you could of done them without looking at this tutorial, this is for people who have never tried spriting and this can show them what they can do. So think the question again.

Step three: do what ever radius/brightness/contrast you want. But to make it realistic in my way put it:
Radius: 1
Brightness: -100
Contrast: 100
Step four: Click OK, then save your sprite and you're done!
